  • Former Division I soccer player and team captain, GO RAMS!
  • Former competitive figure skater
  • I’m a Tough Mudder! (Mount Snow Tough Mudder, August 2013)
  • I have completed three half marathons (September 2012 Surftown Half in Westerly, RI and July 2013 and 2014 United Health Jamestown Half in Jamestown, RI)
  • Participated in lots of small races in between (10k’s, 5k’s etc.)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism
  • Master of Arts in Communication Studies with a focus in media
  • During my graduate studies at URI, I was the Manager of the Harrington School of Communication & Media website, a graduate student instructor for COM100, and a research assistant

Interests, Career Aspirations & Dreams

  • Social media enthusiast
  • Harry Potter & LOTR superfan (nerd alert!)
  • Favorite city: Toronto! I love Providence and Boston, too
  • Dream job: Food Network Chef (with a big bright kitchen like Ina Garten), because ya gotta dream big!
  • Post-graduation goals: Travel, work in the marketing and communications field, contribute to a meaningful cause, and pursue a new culinary endeavor
  • Dream travel destinations: Japan, Ireland and Greece are amongst my top 5
  • Long-term goals: Write a cookbook & run a marathon
  • Causes I care about: Girl’s education around the world, hunger prevention & health education
