Growing up in a very athletic-oriented family made it easy for me to stay fit throughout my childhood. Figure skating and soccer combined, kept me busy and active.

My parents were the best supporters I know, and helped me make the decision to pursue my educational career at a D1 school on a soccer scholarship at the University of Rhode Island. Without my parents, I wouldn’t have made it as far as I did and I’m so thankful for them every single day.

While this blog will mostly focus on food and recipes, I will also try to incorporate some of the fitness routines I complete on a weekly basis. I focus on finding a balance between lots of running with circuit and interval routines, abs, stretching and yoga videos. My wonderful fiancé, Frank, is a certified personal trainer while also pursuing his Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. He will be guest posting as a way for you to incorporate quality workouts into your routine!
